Amara Cudney has written several books and is an avid, well respected author, known for her great plot twists and insight into human nature. Her stories focus on people and their struggles in life. She loves to look into people's souls and give the reader a feeling that they know them.

Her latest books, Breath of the Sorcerer and On the Wings of a Hawk, are available on Amazon, with a focus on magic and healing and the absolute unpredictability of what life can bring us in both good and bad ways.

On the Wings of a Hawk is the story of a young woman who finds herself alone after 9/11, the time when the Twin Towers were destroyed and thousands were killed and injured. She has to build a life for herself without her husband who has left to fight the ENEMY. Only months later, he returns home as an angry, depressed paraplegic. Things get worse and worse for Lucinda and Kevin, but the night the police arrive to tell her her husband has been killed in a car accident is almost more than she can handle.

She’s taken a job as a nanny and is in charge of three children. Her boss as well as her best friend are growing concerned as she keeps having “accidents” and all fear that either she’ll be killed or her children will.

We never know how grief will shape us after a loved one dies. But, we are pretty sure it will change us. This story is about the changes that happened to Lucy..

Amara lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with her husband, two feral kitties she brought from Hawaii, and the newest addition, a special needs kitty named Pearl.
